Why is your hourly rate lower than other counselors‘ rates?
I’m currently finishing up my certificate to become a systemic and family therapist. Because I’m still in training, my counseling services are currently offered at a reduced rate. As a part of my coursework, I participate in regular supervision from a certified therapist, where I can receive feedback and tips about my counseling techniques, which ensure than my clients are still getting a high-quality service.
What is systemic counseling?
Systemic counseling is a form of psychological counseling which emphasizes the importance of the client’s relationship with others and with their environment. As a training systemic counselor, I understand my clients as individuals and as people in relationship with others. My role as a counselor is to help my clients find what’s working in their relationship with themselves and others and to support them in making changes to these relationships in order to reach their goals.
Is systemic counseling effective?
Systemic counseling has been officially certified by the Scientific Advisory Board on Psychotherapy (Wissenschaftlicher Beirat Psychotherapie, WBP) as an effective and scientifically-proven form of psychological counseling.
Do you offer counseling in German?
